Summer is about to start and we will be finding different ways of cooling mind as well as body. To avoid dehydration, have plenty of water and juices. Cucumber is a coolant veggie, you can consume it in the form of juice or as such. It is very good for your skin also.
Drinking plain cumber juice won’t be tasty, so we can add on many ingredients into this. For this lemonade, you don’t need lot of ingredients; cucumber, lemon and water is enough and up to your taste you can add salt/sugar. To get different taste, try these variations like a piece of ginger, mint leaves, green chili. In the below recipe, I have added some soaked basil seeds also for additional cooling 🙂
- Cucumber – 2-3, Peeled and cut into chunks
- Lemon – 1
- Sugar – 1 tablespoon
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Add the cucumber slices, lemon juice, sugar and water into a blender and blend it util pureed well.
- If you want you can strain it and serve. Adjust sugar and water accordingly.
