This is also a quick option for breakfast. It is healthy, filling and easy too. Before I have posted Strawberry Oats Smoothie with the combination of oats and strawberry. The next day I have tried it with banana. Since banana is easily available and it will be there almost all the time in our kitchens, you can try this at any time. The preparation is slightly different here.
- Oats – 3 tablespoon
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Yogurt – 1/4 cup
- Banana – 1
- Sugar/ Honey – 2 teaspoon
- Cashew/Walnut – 4
- Cook oats in 1/2 cup of water for 3 minutes and allow it to cool.
In a blender, combine cooked oats, yogurt, chopped banana, honey, little milk and blend it until smooth.
Then add the remaining milk and blend again.
Add chopped nuts and serve chilled.
Note: You can add more milk for a better consistency.
