Eggless Orange Tutti Frutti Cake

Orange Cake

This is an easy cake recipe with tutti frutti(candied fruits) and fresh orange juice. This is an eggless version too. Actually I’m baking a cake after a long time. I wanted to make use of some tutti fruttis stored in fridge. It is a very soft and yummy cake and my kids finished it within 2 days. Try it out for your next baking.

  • Butter – 4 tablespoon
  • Flour/ Maida -1 1/4 cups
  •  Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon
  •  Baking powder – 1 1/2 teaspoon
  •  Condensed milk – 1 cup
  •  Fresh orange juice – 3/4 cup
  •  Tutti frutti- 1/4 cup

  1. Whisk together butter and condensed milk.  Add the orange juice and mix well.
  2. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Add this to the orange juice condensed milk mixture.  Gently fold into a thick batter.
  4. Toss the tutti frutti in 1 tablespoon flour.  Add it to the batter and fold.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf tin. Sprinkle with some tutti frutti on top.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 degree. Bake for 30- 40 minutes.
  7. Remove when a tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Allow it to cool and then slice it.
