A smoothie is a thick drink made from fruits/vegetables with water,ice,sweeteners and diary products. It includes large amount of fruits/vegetables, so it is considered as healthy diet. I have already shared the health benefits of avocado in my Avocado Chutney post. So today we can see how to make a smoothie out of it. It is very easy to make with less ingredients.Either you can use avocado alone or you can add a banana too. If you want you can add any flavoured yogurt also. You can increase/decrease the quantity of milk to get the desired consistency.
- Avocado – 1, ripe
- Banana – 1 (optional)
- Milk – 1 cup
- Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- Honey – 2 tablespoon
- Remove the pit and scoop the flesh from avocado.
- Add avocado, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice cubes in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and serve chilled.
