Taro curry is a familiar dish for Keralites, but the same thing can be used for making chips. Just like banana chips, slice it and deep fry it in oil. The big size taro or chembu is used for this.
- Chembu / Taro root – 4
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Peel the skin and cut taro into thin round slices. Mix salt and turmeric powder in water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, when it becomes hot drop the taro slices. Stir in between.
- When it is almost fried sprinkle salt water and take it out from oil.
