Mango Ice Cream


A very yummy and tasty ice cream without any ice cream maker. Here I have used the fresh mango puree, you can do this at home when you get fresh mangoes. You can try with any type of mangoes, I have done this with Alphonso mangoes, they are very sweet and you will get a nice color also. You can vary the amount of sugar depends on the sweetness of mangoes.


  • Mango – 2
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Cream – 1/2 cup
  • Milk  -1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Essence – 1/4 teaspoon(optional)


  1. Scoop and collect pulp of mango with a spoon and place it in a blender with sugar, milk and blend well until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add fresh cream, vanilla essence and whip until all the ingredients are mixed well.
  3. Pour it into an airtight bowl and freeze for 2 hours. Take out and blend it again in a mixer until smooth and refrigerate. Freeze it overnight, scoop and serve.
