Beef Masala

Beef

A non vegetarian dish you can serve as a side dish for rice , Indian breads and any breakfast items. This beef masala is a thick gravy dish and if you want you can change it into beef roast by frying further.

Ingredients

  • Beef – 500 gram
  • Onion – 2
  • Fennel seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato – 1
  • Green chili  – 2
  • Ginger  garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon

To marinate

  • Chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients to marinate with little water and make it into a good paste. Add beef pieces and mix well. Pressure cook the marinated beef till it is cooked well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fennel seeds, sliced onion and curry leaves.Cook with pan covered, stirring in between till onion becomes brown.
  3. Add tomato pieces and saute till it becomes soft. Add ginger garlic paste, green chili and saute for a minute.
  4. Add all the masala, salt and saute for a minute. Add cooked beef and mix well. Cook with the pan covered in medium flame till it becomes brown and thick.
