Masala Bread

This is an easy snack recipe with bread. You can quickly make it as a tea time snack for kids. Only few  and easily available ingredients are required for this.


  • Gram flour/Besan – 1/2 cup
  • All purpose flour – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala – 1 tablespoon
  • Bread  – 4 slices
  • Salt


  1. Cut the bread slices lengthwise.
  2. Mix gram flour, all purpose flour,chili powder, garam masala powder and salt with water to make a thick batter. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3.  Heat oil in a pan. Dip bread pieces in the batter and fry till golden brown.
  4.  Serve with ketchup.
