Cabbage Vada / Cabbage Fritters

A teatime snack with cabbage. You can have this crispy  fritters at home in minimum time. It will be tasty only when it is hot. When you try this, always make small quantity and try to finish it on the same day.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage – 1 ,finely chopped
  • Onion – 1 , finely chopped
  • Besan/Gram flour – 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour – 1/4 cup
  • Ginger – 1 teaspoon
  • Green Chilly – 2
  • Curry Leaves – 1 stem
  • Salt – to taste

Preparation

  1. Mix finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilly, curry leaves, cabbage, rice flour,salt and gram flour.
  2. Make a thick batter using little water. Take small amount of the mixture and make a ball. Flatten the ball in to a round shape using your palms
  3. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot put each one slowly and fry both sides to a golden brown colour..
